The Cathedral School of St. Matthew is fully accredited by the Indiana Department of Education and AdvancED Accreditation.
The Cathedral School of St. Matthew maintains the highest academic standards while providing for the individual needs of all students. Many of our students qualify to be part of enrichment programs for accelerated students in high school. In the past 20 years, 38 alumni have been valedictorians or salutatorians at local high schools and colleges.
Band, music, sports, clubs, Education Fair including Science Fair, Club Invention, Title I services, Special Education, English as a Second Language, speech therapy are an integral part of the curriculum.

Teachers: 20 classroom teachers in PreK-8, plus Art, Music, PE, Health, Spanish, and Library
Communication Technologies: Available to all students. We have made significant improvements to our entire school’s infrastructure. Students are able to use Apple MacBooks, ipads, Chrome Books, and other interactive technologies!
Special Education Teachers: For students in need of extra academic assistance, we have a full-time special education director and part-time assistance to her. Students who qualify for an ISP or Catholic Accommodation Plan are served to the best of our ability. Our teachers are devoted to assisting students and their particular needs.
Afterschool Care: Dedicated members of our staff stay after school to look after students whose parents are not able to arrange for a ride home from school at dismissal.
A snack is provided. This service closes at 5:15 pm.
