This Easter is one of mixed emotions. We celebrate once again the Risen Lord, the true light of the world and we give thanks for the gift of our Savior. However, it is a day of sadness and facing the unknown as we continue to live with this virus. Let us continue to do as we are asked and distance ourselves from others as difficult as that may be and to stay home and keep safe.
We pray for those who were to enter the Church at the Vigil of Easter this year by way of Baptism or by making a profession of faith in the Catholic Church. However, when we once again can gather as a faith community we will be welcoming them into the Church.
The parish will continue to stream our daily and weekend Masses. You can watch on You Tube by going to the website and clicking on the link to the Mass. I'd like to thank Father Dermot for all his work in getting this accomplished. It was most difficult because of the lack of wifi in the church and the massive openness of the building and the echoes. However, after much work he accomplished his mission. Father had planned on going home to visit his family after Easter however because of the way things turned out he will be unable to go.
Please: During this time continue to reach out to others. This is done by way of phone, Facebook, Instagram or even snail mail (remember that). Continue to pray for our parish community. Do what you can to financially support the church and the work of the church during this time. Thanks !!
