Online registration is now open for the weekly Religious Education (CCD) program at St. Matthew Cathedral! Classes start on Wednesday, September 6th, and will run through the school year from 6:00pm-7:15pm.
Children in grades K-8 are encouraged to attend weekly classes during the school year to grow in their faith and familiarity with the Bible and Catholic Tradition. Religious Education classes also serve as Sacramental preparation for children who will be receiving First Communion and Confirmation. Led by caring and trained catechists, children experience Christ’s love for them and the Church through the study of Scripture and Tradition, prayer, the life of discipleship, and by encountering God through the Sacraments.
The registration fee is $45 for the first child, and $10 for each additional child in the family. Please bring cash or a check to the first night of class. Classes will meet in the school building, with drop off at the south cafeteria doors where we will gather for prayer before catechists will guide different age groups to their classrooms. Pickup is also from the south cafeteria doors.
You can find the schedule of '23-'24 RE classes here.
