As the 2018-2019 school year draws to a close for the Cathedral School of St. Matthew, students are enjoying their final pilgrimages and field trips with their classes. From learning more about their faith while exploring the Cathedral of St. Matthew to seeing Indiana history come alive at Conner Prairie, our students are getting the most out of these last days of the school year!
Sister Gianna Marie took the Pre- K students to the Cathedral for their pilgrimage, to explore many of the areas of the church that they don’t usually get to visit.
Fourth Grade students put their knowledge of Indiana History to the test at Conner Prairie, where they visited the Civil War Journey, a Lenape Indian Camp, and the historic Prairietown. This field trip showed the students how history comes alive when it moves beyond textbooks and into interactive experiences!
