How Great Though Arts!

The Cathedral School of St. Matthew has a long-standing tradition of excellence in the Arts. Our students receive an outstanding and well-rounded education from top-notch teachers, but they are also given the opportunity to participate in Fine Arts activities outside of school hours.

Our Drama Club and both of our bands recently performed before large audiences to showcase their immense talents.

After copious amounts of preparation and practice throughout the past school year, the Drama Club presented their final performances of their “Blazin’ One-Act Show” on April 26-27. Audiences were delighted to enjoy the amazing acting abilities of our talented students. We share our immense gratitude to the Drama Club teacher, Laurisa LeSure, and our own Kate Malinowski for taking the lead in guiding our students through this extraordinary journey!

Our Beginning and Advanced Bands impressed the audience with their “Fantasies” concert on May 2 at Marian High School. Our beginning band students have come a long way since picking up their instruments for the first time in September, while our advanced band students showed that hard work and practice create an outstanding experience for their enthusiastic audiences! Many thanks to Ms. Jessica Sheehan who is instrumental to their success!
