On December 5, our fourth grade students went on pilgrimage at the University of Notre Dame. They visited the Snite Museum, celebrated an Advent Mass at the Basilica with Fr. Academics and Beyond We have come to expect excellence from our St. Matthew Cathedral School students both in the classroom and in their extracurricular endeavors. Our students have not only met that expectation, but exceeded it! From science to music, from sports to art, our students continue to make good use of their talent.
Our students celebrate the past, present, and future in education. From learning the 2000 year-old game of Chess, to celebrating the 100th day of the 2019 school year, to setting our sights on future careers, students at St. Matthew Cathedral School love to celebrate excellence in education!
On Saturday, February 23, the St. Matthew Cathedral community came together to test our sports acumen during Trivia Night in the gym. This year’s theme was “Sports Trivia”, and the night proved a competitive race to the top among almost 20 teams. Many thanks to our participants from the church and school community, the many businesses and individuals who donated wonderful items for the silent auction, and the HASA organizers (especially Mary Jordan) who made the evening such a success!
